J. Cole Bio/Wiki 2017

Jermaine Lamarr Cole, known simply as J. Cole, is a German-American songwriter, producer and recording artist. He was born in a United States Army base in Frankfurt, Germany in January 28, 1985. At the time, the country was still divided between Soviet and western powers, and Frankfurt was in the Allied-controlled western portion of the nation. At less than a year old, his mother brought him to Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he currently resides. His father, a man of African-American descent, departed from the family when he was a baby. Cole attended Terry Sanford High School and graduated in 2003.

J. Cole Net Worth $4.5 Million

Motivated by rap figures Canibus and Eminem, Cole began rapping at the tender age of 12. After spending several years developing lyrics and rhymes in his notebook, his mother bought him a beat machine when he was still in high school. He began getting exposure online when he was 17 years old as he uploaded songs to online forums and other websites. So far, he has released four albums that have won him critical acclaim: The Warm Up (2009), Friday Night Lights (2010), Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011) and Born Sinner (2013). As of September 2013, his fourth album sold nearly 600,000 copies in the United States. J. Cole’s net worth is currently estimated at around $4.5 million. His income comes from the first 10 years of his musical career. Cole has been nominated for dozens of awards between 2011 and 2013, including Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year and Producer of the Year in the BET Hip Hop Awards. He’s also received nominations in various categories in the World Music Awards and Soul Train Music Awards. His “Power Trip” featuring Miguel was in the running for the Best Hip-Hop Video in 2013.
